- How will the merger with Covad and MegaPath affect channel partners?
The new company brings together experienced sales teams and mature partner channels to take advantage of enhancements to the network and services portfolio to further the existing leadership roles in the SMB, enterprise, and wholesale markets. The new company will enhance training, partner communications and marketing, as well as improve portal and online ordering tools and enhance products for SMB and enterprise customers.
The new company will grow the partner, dealer, and agent relationships of the three companies to help ensure the success of the combined businesses. The new company will also be positioned to invest in a product growth strategy to meet the needs of customers and partners. A single comprehensive indirect commercial partner program will be rolled out, shortly.
A single, comprehensive channel partner program will be rolled out in early 2011. Each company is working with their current partner community, so that all partners will be able to sell from the combined portfolio beginning September 1, 2010. - What do I do if I am not an active partner with any of the companies involved in the merger, but would like to be?
We are currently in the process of rolling out a new Channel Partner Program, available in early 2011. For more information, please contact the Speakeasy Partner Hotline at 888-886-6116. - I already have an agreement/contract with one of the companies involved in the merger. Do I need to do anything differently?
No. Continue with business as usual. If you are interested in selling the new products, contact your Speakeasy Partner Consultant or call our Partner Hotline at 888-886-6116. - Do I need to do anything differently to continue to sell my existing offerings and/or to sell new services?
If you are selling products currently covered under your existing Speakeasy agreement, no action is needed at this time. If you are interested in selling products not currently covered under your existing agreement, please contact your Channel Manager. - I already have an agreement/contract with more than one of the companies involved in the merger. What do I do?
Please continue to conduct your business as usual through your respective Channel Managers across all appropriate companies. In the next few months, we will re-launch the products, commissions, and partnership benefits as one new Channel Partner Program. - Who is Speakeasy?

- When would I get paid?
Speakeasy will pay the initial commission after the first month in which the Customer has been active for a minimum of 30 days and is in good payment standing with Speakeasy. Good payment standing is determined solely by Speakeasy's credit department. - What tools and support are available to my business?
- Technical and Sales/Marketing Support - Priority technical support, responsive sales support, and extended Speakeasy Sales teams working together to help you with your sales efforts.
- Product Marketing Tools - Online resource center including brochures, data sheets, white papers and case studies to share with your customers.
- Ongoing Communication - Monthly newsletters and bulletins, webinars, local marketing/networking events.
- New Partner Program - A new partner program will be rolled out within the next few months. Until then, we will continue business as usual with our existing partner program.
- Product Training - A new product training program will be unveiled in the next 30 days. In the interim, contact your Channel Manager if you have specific product questions.
